Aram Tigran City Conservatory Announces New Term Registration Calendar
The reopened Aram Tigran City Conservatory in Diyarbakır has started accepting applications for free training in various fields ranging from cinema to music.
The Aram Tigran City Conservatory, affiliated with the Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality, has launched new-term student registrations. Applications for the free training will be made via DİSMEK between September 1 and September 20.
Activities of the Reopened Conservatory
The Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality announced the start of new-term student registrations at the Aram Tigran City Conservatory to preserve and develop the city's cultural heritage. Established in 2010 and closed in 2016, the institution has been reopened by the municipality after 9 years.
Departments and Fields of Education
The conservatory includes departments for cinema, theater, music, children's music, Kurdish language and literature, and folk dances. All workshop classes, for which students will be accepted with limited quotas, will take place at the Çand Amed Culture and Congress Center.
Children's Music Education Program
Children aged 7 to 12 will be able to benefit from the conservatory's children's music department. In this department, where the language of instruction is Kurdish, children will be provided with systematic music education for 6 years, aiming to develop their talents at an early age.
Application Process and Calendar
New-term registration applications will be made online via DİSMEK's website between September 1 and September 20, and applications from outside Diyarbakır will also be accepted.
Auditions and Start Date of Courses
Following the completion of applications, student selection workshops will be held between September 21 and September 27, and results will be announced on October 5. The new-term courses of the Aram Tigran City Conservatory will begin on October 12.
