Atatürk Cultural Center Announced the 2026-2027 Art Season Program

Atatürk Cultural Center is preparing to open the new 2026-2027 art season, which will feature notable events on a national and international scale. The center's new term program includes rich productions such as theater, opera, ballet, and concerts.

September Events and Opening

The new art season at the Atatürk Cultural Center will kick off with a piece staged through a special choreography by the Novaya Ballet ensemble from Russia. Afterward, the sold-out play Amadeus and the Istanbul State Opera and Ballet's season opening concert will meet with art enthusiasts. Additionally, the Sadri Alışık Theater and Cinema Actor Awards ceremony will be held within this month.

Istanbul Culture Trail Festival

Within the scope of the Istanbul Culture Trail Festival to be held between September 26 and October 4, the center will host many important artists and ensembles from Turkey and around the world. The program will feature a wide spectrum of art ranging from orchestras to dance ensembles.

October Premieres and Concerts

A major production prepared by the Istanbul State Opera and Ballet, inspired by the life of Afife Jale, will premiere in the new season. In addition, coffee concerts, Sunday recitals, the Don Quixote Musical, and the modern dance show titled Rüzgâr Ağacı are among the prominent events of October.

November and December Program

In November, the Jock Cello concert, the Şefika Kutluer recital, and Sergei Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet ballet will be staged. In December, Lang Lang, one of the prominent names in the international music world, will give a concert at the center, and New Year's concerts will be organized in the final days of the year.

Highlights in 2027

In 2027, Okan Bayülgen's staged productions War of the Giants and The Time Regulation Institute will continue to meet with the audience. While Giacomo Puccini's opera Turandot will premiere, the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra's string trio will also be a guest at the center.
