BlackBox Announces New Season Event Program
BlackBox has announced its new season program, which will welcome art lovers with rich talk series and participation from expert names in their fields.
In the new season, BlackBox brings together art lovers with talks and events by figures such as Prof. Dr. Gül İrepoğlu, Ayşegül Sönmez, Cengiz Özdemir, Nilay Örnek, Figen Ayhan, Seray Şahinler, and Bahar Çuhadar.
The 1914 Generation and Minimalism
Prof. Dr. Gül İrepoğlu focuses on the new temporary exhibition of the Türkiye İş Bankası Painting and Sculpture Museum this season. The event titled "Painters We Know: When the 1914 Generation is Mentioned..." starts on Saturday, October 10 at 14:00.
Ayşegül Sönmez addresses Minimalism in the first of her "Between Movements and Currents" series on Sunday, October 11 at 14:00, meeting with art lovers.
Istanbul Conversations and the Şakir Paşa Family
Within the scope of "Istanbul Conversations" with Cengiz Özdemir at BlackBox, the "Archaeology of Hagia Sophia" event will take place on Friday, October 16 at 18:00 with the participation of Prof. Dr. Hasan Fırat Diker.
Nilay Örnek examines the structures that left a mark on the lives of the Şakir Paşa Family in her "Every Hope Seeks a Partner" talks on Saturday, October 17 at 14:00.
