Thanks to this important digitalization step, the literary accumulation of the past meets today's readers and researchers.
Şeyh Galib's Early Work
One of the most striking pieces in the collection is the Divan, compiled by Şeyh Galib when he was only 18 to 19 years old and written in his own hand.
This valuable work, which sheds light on the poet's literary production during his youth, is among the 15 author-written copies in the collection.
The Oldest Copy in the Collection
The oldest of the copies whose date of copying, or transcription, has been precisely determined was recorded as the 1523 Dîvân-ı Emir Şâhî.
In addition to this 503-year-old deeply rooted copy, the collection houses numerous science and literature manuscripts belonging to different centuries.
