City Theatres ÇGSM Playwriting Workshop Second Selection Play Readings
Six new play texts developed within the scope of the workshop will meet art lovers at the Müze Gazhane Meydan Stage.
The second selection of plays developed at the City Theatres Contemporary Performing Arts Center Playwriting Workshop are meeting theatre audiences through readings to be held at the end of September.
The Second Selection of Workshop Studies is Being Staged
Original texts developed within the scope of the Playwriting Workshop implemented by the City Theatres Contemporary Performing Arts Center in the 2025–2026 season are being presented to the audience through stage readings.
Event Schedule and Venue Information
The play readings, to be held at the Müze Gazhane Meydan Stage, will take place on September 24, 26, and 27, presenting six different works to the appreciation of theatre enthusiasts.
Programme for Thursday, September 24
On the first day of the event at 17:00, 32.Kat, written by Özge Oruç Ertürk and directed by Volkan Öztürk, will be read. Afterwards, at 20:00, Donsürton, written by Meltem Kanat and directed by Berfu Aydoğan, will meet the audience.
Programme for Saturday, September 26
On the second day of the programme at 17:00, İdil Oskay Peköz's play titled Şimdi Değilse will be read under the direction of Berna Adıgüzel. At 20:00, Kayıt Dışı, written by Cihan Tangerli and directed by Onur Şirin, will be staged.
Programme for Sunday, September 27
The events continue on the weekend closing day. At 17:00, Rabia Bayındır's work Belki Sular Hiç Çekilmez will be read under the direction of Yıldıray Şahinler, and at 20:00, Çağla Pınar Çakır's work Normal İnsanlar will be read under the direction of Aslı Öngören.
