Cultural access is strengthening locally and grants are finding their recipients
A total of 500 thousand euros in grant support has been allocated for projects to be implemented in Ayvalık, Diyarbakır, Gürpınar, and Osmangazi within the scope of the Ortaklaşa Program carried out by İKSV.
The first call period of the new term of the Ortaklaşa Program, carried out under the leadership of the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts, has concluded. Grants will be provided to projects aiming to increase cultural access in four different cities.
Ortaklaşa Program concluded
The first call process for the new term of the Ortaklaşa Program, carried out under the leadership of the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts with the support of the European Union, has officially been completed. This process, which aims to strengthen cooperation between civil society and local governments, paves the way for cultural projects.
500 thousand euros grant for four projects
It was decided to transfer a total of 500 thousand euros in grant support for the projects to be implemented in the cities of Ayvalık, Diyarbakır, Gürpınar, and Osmangazi. These supported works will contribute to removing art from its city-centered monopoly.
Supported associations
Projects carried out by the Seyir Culture and Art Association, the Diyarbakır Literature Culture Art Education and Research Association, the Ninova Education Culture Art and Tourism Association, and the Ankara Aks Association were entitled to receive grants.
Cultural access at the local level
With these projects to be carried out in the Ayvalık, Diyarbakır, Van Gürpınar, and Bursa Osmangazi regions, opportunities for accessing culture at the local level will be expanded and sustainable collaborations will be established.
