Culture and Art Days to Be Held in Honor of Yaşar Kemal in Osmaniye
An international culture and art program to be held in Osmaniye to keep the memory of master writer Yaşar Kemal alive will feature various events over four days.
International culture and art events will be held in Osmaniye between October 15-18 in memory of Yaşar Kemal, the master name of Turkish literature.
Start of the Event and Panels
The program will officially begin on October 15 with a theater performance and the panel titled 'Cornerstones of Yaşar Kemal's Culture', to be held in the Kadirli district.
İnce Memed Walk
On October 16, the second day of the culture and art days, the traditional İnce Memed walk will be held in the center of Osmaniye.
Artistic and Literary Talks
The deep traces of Yaşar Kemal in the world of cinema and literature will be discussed through various talks, panels, and documentary screenings.
Celebrations in Hemite Village
Painting exhibitions, storytelling, and folk dance performances will be held around the Yaşar Kemal Culture House and Park in Hemite village on October 17.
Nature and Entertainment Events
Colorful outdoor activities such as a canoeing gathering, kite festival, and glider flight will also meet participants within the scope of the program.
Closing Trip
