Culture and Arts Meet at AileFest in Rami Library
Held at Rami Library with the contributions of various ministries and institutions, AileFest welcomes visitors with talks and workshops.
Within the scope of the 'Family and Population Decade' declared by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's circular, AileFest at Rami Library hosts visitors of all ages with cultural and artistic events and children's workshops.
Scope of the Festival
The organization held at Rami Library was organized with the contributions of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Ministry of National Education, the Ministry of Family and Social Services, the Istanbul Governorship, and the Turkey Voluntary Organizations Foundation.
Throughout the ten-day events, many activities such as puppet theater, traditional shadow play, and the Family and Children's Book Fair were offered for little ones and children.
Building Happiness Talk
Author Mecit Ömür Öztürk shared the methods of building happiness in the mental world with the participants.
Öztürk emphasized that discussing these concepts in places where nature and culture meet relaxes people.
Developmental Processes and Psychiatry
Child and adolescent psychiatrist Prof. Dr. Cem Gökçen informed parents about children's developmental processes and the school period.
Gökçen stated that parents should not be afraid to consult psychiatry and explained the importance of early intervention.
Emphasis on Family Festival
Psychologist Prof. Dr. Acar Baltaş stated that the area is not just a book fair, but was designed fully as a family festival.
Baltaş expressed that the organization carries the characteristic of being a center for culture, entertainment, education, and development.
Closing Program
AileFest, which has been ongoing since September 26, will conclude with a concert program to be held tomorrow evening.
At the closing, Eda-Metin Özülkü, Ümit Sayın, and Ferda Anıl Yarkın will take the stage for music lovers.
