Culture Road Festival Begins in Gaziantep
Organized with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the festival in Gaziantep will bring together concerts, exhibitions, and local flavors for nine days.
The GastroAntep Culture Route Festival, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and supported by the Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality, will welcome visitors with art, culture, and gastronomy events at various points across the city from October 3 to 11.
Festival Dates and Purpose
Organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the GastroAntep Culture Route Festival will welcome visitors with art, culture, and gastronomy events at various points across the city from October 3 to 11.
Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy stated that the festival aims to introduce the city's cultural and touristic values to wider audiences and contribute to tourism mobility.
Exhibitions and Cultural Events
Throughout the festival, important exhibitions such as the Sacred Relics of the Ottoman Empire and Living Heritage Gaziantep will be hosted at the Zeugma Mosaic Museum, the Şehitkamil Art Gallery, and various locations around the city.
Additionally, children's plays, musicals, Children's Village events at Festival Park, and informational programs regarding the preservation of cultural heritage in the ancient cities of Karkamış and Dülük will be organized.
Gastronomy Program and Flavors
In the gastronomy program, hosted by Chef Doğa Çitçi, over 50 Flavor Points will be established, introducing local delicacies such as beyran, liver, küşleme, kebab, lahmacun, katmer, and baklava.
Panels, talks, and workshops with the participation of numerous local and foreign chefs will be held to convey the city's rich culinary cultural heritage to visitors.
Free Concert Schedule
Famous names will meet music lovers at different points of the city during festival evenings, giving free concerts.
Within this scope, artists such as Bengü, Murat Boz, Kıraç, Buray, Simge, Özcan Deniz, Hakan Altun, Mert Demir, and Sefo will take the stage to offer a musical feast to the participants.
