Culture Route Festival Begins in Ankara

The Ankara leg of Turkey's Culture Road Festival has officially started with a ceremony at CSO Ada Ankara, attended by Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy. Running in the capital from September 19 to 27, the festival hosts a total of 518 events across 42 different venues.

Start and Scope of the Festival

Events have officially begun in Ankara, the 19th stop of this year's Turkey Culture Road Festival. Launched at CSO Ada Ankara with the participation of Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, the festival is being held between September 19 and 27.

Within the scope of the festival, where a total of 518 events will be organized across 42 different venues throughout the capital, concerts, exhibitions, talks, children's activities, workshops, and gastronomy programs are taking place.

Exhibitions Visited at the Opening

As part of the opening program, Minister Ersoy examined various exhibitions at CSO Ada Ankara. Within this scope, the "Ankara is Illustrated" and "Young Art: 7th Poster Design Competition" exhibitions were visited.

Additionally, together with Ambassador of the Republic of Korea Sukjong Boo, the opening of the "Meeting of Colors and Dialogue of Two Cultures" exhibition was held, and ASELSAN's "A Vision of an Upcycled Future" exhibition was toured.

Concerts and Stage Performances

The main stage to be set up at the Capital Nation's Garden and the Children's Village will host many prominent names throughout the festival. Gökhan Türkmen, Hakan Altun, Derya Uluğ, Sefo, Ceza, Ebru Yaşar, and Özcan Deniz will give concerts in the program.

In the fields of music and performing arts, performances by international ensembles such as the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the National Arab Orchestra, along with the Ankara State Opera and Ballet's opera 'Don Giovanni', will meet with art lovers.
