Prepared as a major production, this special work meets art enthusiasts with the premiere to be held on October 1.
Credits and Adaptation of the Work
The stage adaptation of the production, translated into Turkish by Cevat Çapan, bears the signatures of Erwin Piscator, Guntram Prüfer, and Alfred Neumann. Kerim Dündar sits in the director's chair for this comprehensive theatrical play.
Subject and Theme of the Play
Shaped in the shadow of the Napoleonic Wars, the production focuses on the stories of the Bolkonsky and Rostov families tested by love, loss, and change.
Processing the journeys of Andrei Bolkonsky, who joins the war with hopes of heroism, and Pierre Bezukhov, who searches for the meaning of life, the production impressively portrays the destruction caused by war, class inequalities, and the conflicts between the old order and the new world.

Drawing attention with its visual and auditory texture, the production's set design was undertaken by Tayfun Çebi, costume design by Berfin İlhan, and lighting design by Eser Dursun.
While Emrah Lehimler managed the music, composition, and repetiteur work, the dance and movement arrangement of the work was prepared by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ömer Barbaros Ünlü.
