Fethiye Üzümlü Art and Literature Festival Begins

Üzümlü Village in Muğla's Fethiye district is preparing to host the 1st Fethiye Üzümlü Art and Literature Festival, which will be realized for the first time this year.
The events will take place between October 2-4 and aim to bring children, youth, women, and all local residents together on the same platform.

A wide variety of events, ranging from poetry to music, theater to painting, sculpture to mime, and from dance to different fields of performance art, will be featured in the program.
Within the scope of the festival, various workshops and exhibitions will be held alongside talks and recitals, bringing different branches of art together with participants.
Cultural Memory and Local Values
The festival program aims to highlight the historical and cultural memory of Üzümlü.
Traditional dastar weaving looms, production culture, and the local values of the region will be blended with various disciplines of art.
Organizing Collective and Principles
Yalınayak Collective, one of the organizers of the festival, has been carrying out culture and art activities in Üzümlü since 2017.
It was announced that all workshops and events will be based on a voluntary basis, open to the public, and completely free of charge.

Many esteemed names from the fields of literature, performing arts, visual arts, and academia will take part in the events in Üzümlü.
