In the workshop, participants were explained in detail about the traditional motifs used in tile art, pattern preparation processes, and underglaze painting techniques.
Özgün Küçükkahraman Yazgan and Merve Erbaş took part in the event organized by Gül Camadan. Participants painted round coasters with traditional motifs.

Hatai Motif and Interest in Tile Art
Tile artist Özgün Küçükkahraman Yazgan provided information about the hatai motif, stating that the patterns are drawn on sketch paper, pierced with a needle, and then transferred onto the tile using charcoal dust.

Stating that interest in tile art has increased in recent years, Özgün Küçükkahraman Yazgan noted that a small tile can be made in an hour, while larger works can take up to a month. Stating that they participated in the festival as the Çınar International Culture and Art Center, Yazgan emphasized that the workshop quota filled up the moment it was opened.
