International Eskişehir Porsuk Festival Begins
The first Porsuk Festival, organized by the Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality, will open its doors on the city's liberation day.
The International Eskişehir Porsuk Festival will be organized by the Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality between September 2 and September 6, 2026. Starting on September 2, the city's Liberation Day, the event will host numerous local and foreign artists for five days.
Start Date and Purpose of the Festival
The countdown has officially begun for the International Eskişehir Porsuk Festival, which will meet art lovers for the first time this year.
The organization is being brought to life by the Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality within the scope of the 2026 Eskişehir Year and with ETİ as the main sponsor.
Free Presentation of Events
During the festival, which will last for five days, all events such as music, cinema, theater, dance, and exhibitions will be held free of charge.
The program, which combines art and entertainment around the Porsuk River—the symbol of the city—appeals to a wide audience.
International Participant Profile
Bringing together artists from many different countries of the world in Eskişehir, the festival has a wide geographical representation.
Participation will be provided from numerous countries such as Germany, the USA, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, China, Finland, Wales, South Korea, and India.
Opening and Closing Program
On the opening day, a land and river parade, a mapping show, and a DJ performance will be presented to the audience's appreciation.
At the closing, the band mor ve ötesi will give a symphonic concert with the Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Symphony Orchestra conducted by Conductor Orçun Orçunsel.
Artists to Take the Stage
Throughout the festival, names such as Pinhani, Selin Çıngır, the Korean Gyeonggi Sinawi Orchestra, and the Jomy Jai Ensemble will take the stage.
In addition, the Big Band Firebird Orchestra, Gözen Vural, the Roman Orchestra, Jön, Piiz, Blingone, Role, and Valeria Sonar will also perform.
Venues and Side Events
Open-air events will be organized at locations such as Kentpark, Sümerpark, Adalar Mevkii, Köprübaşı, and İskele26.
Award-winning theater plays will meet audiences at the Haldun Dormen Stage and the Art and Culture Center Opera House.
