International Eskişehir Porsuk Festival Begins
Organized by the Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality, the Porsuk Festival will bring together art lovers for five days with the participation of one hundred thirty-six artists from twenty-one countries.
The International Eskişehir Porsuk Festival, implemented by the Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality with ETİ as the main sponsor, will host the meeting of art, music, and different cultures from September 2 to 6.
History and Scope of the Festival
Organized by the Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality within the scope of the 2026 Eskişehir Year, the International Eskişehir Porsuk Festival will be held between September 2 and 6, welcoming one hundred thirty-six artists from twenty-one different countries.
Event Locations and Decorations
While the event locations of the festival include Porsuk Boulevard Adalar District, Kentpark, Sümerpark, and İskele26, preparations have been completed with city-wide decorations and dressings.
Opening Day Program
The festival will start on Wednesday, September 2 with the Land Parade at Vilayet Square, and continue with the River Parade on Porsuk Boulevard followed by a music performance by DJ Kemal Kaya Batmaz.
Second Day Events
On the second day of the festival, September 3, the theater play titled A Suitcase Full by Luigi Ciotta from Italy will be staged, and national and international folklore performances will take place.
Theater and Open-Air Activities
In addition to open-air activities, award-winning theater plays will meet art lovers at the Haldun Dormen Stage and the Art and Culture Center Opera House.
