International Sinop Biennial Meets Art Enthusiasts with Its 10th Edition

Sinopale – International Sinop Biennial, Anatolia's first biennial, is being held between September 2 and November 15, 2026, in its twentieth year and tenth edition.
Process-Oriented Production Process Begins
Bearing the title Reason Travels on Land, Intuition at Sea, Sinopale 10 brings together approximately twenty-five artists from twelve countries in Sinop.
Before the exhibition opening, the artists come together with local artisans and volunteers in the city to begin producing their works.
Horizontal Curatorial Model and International Participation
The co-curators of the tenth edition of the biennial are Deniz Kırkalı, Mariam Natroshvili, Marina Fokidis, and the biennial's founder Melih Görgün.
The event, which offers an alternative to Eurocentric networks, features artists from diverse geographies such as Georgia, South Korea, Kazakhstan, and Venezuela.

The Sinopale 10 main exhibition opens to art enthusiasts on September twenty-fifth at the Sinop Military Officers' Club Building.
The events meet audiences at various locations across the city, such as the Hal Sinop Meeting Center and the Sabahattin Ali Cultural Center.
