International Turkish-German Culture and Art Festival to be Held in Frankfurt on the 65th Anniversary of Migration

The KULTÜR International Turkish-German Culture and Art Festival, implemented on the 65th anniversary of labor migration from Turkey to Germany, is preparing to meet art lovers in the city of Frankfurt on October 11.

Festival Details

The International Turkish-German Culture and Art Festival, with the short name KULTÜR, will be held on October 11 at the Internationales Theater Frankfurt.

Time and Organizing Institution

Organized by the Turkish Expats in Germany e.V., this important gathering will welcome visitors between 15:00 and 21:00 on the specified day.

Content of the Art Program

Bringing together artists participating from different countries, the organization offers a rich program content covering the disciplines of music, literature, visual arts, and dance.

Visual Arts and Literature

In the field of visual arts, Seldart – Selda Akça and Rıdvan Özgür will exhibit their works, while Sinem Nazlı Demir and Kateřina Tučková will take part in the literature and talk session.

Music and Performance Names

Derek Robinson, Marina Yusyumbeli, Adelya Abadeli, Könül Gasimova, Muhabbet, Tuanelle – Tuana Yılmaz, the Ege Dance team, and Fırat Cem Tuncel & Band will take the stage in the music and performance program.

The Purpose Behind the Festival

Festival Director and President of Turkish Expats in Germany e.V. Fırat Cem Tuncel stated that the event essentially arose from the idea of creating space for new names.

KULTÜR Awards

Within the scope of the event, the KULTÜR Awards – Golden Ü awards will also find their owners, and a total of 31 nominees are featured in the 2026 selection.

Determination of Award Winners

The names to receive awards will be decided by taking into consideration the evaluations of the 21-member independent jury along with the results of the public vote.
