Istanbul Culture Route Festival Meets Art Lovers for Nine Days
Enriched with culture and art events, the festival offers a wide-ranging program from concerts and exhibitions to gastronomy gatherings.
The Istanbul Culture Route Festival will take place from September 26 to October 4 over nine days, featuring concerts, exhibitions, theater, ballet, and gastronomy events.
History and Scope of the Festival
The Istanbul Culture Route Festival will begin on September 26 and continue uninterrupted for nine days until October 4.
First organized in 2021 under the name Beyoğlu Culture Route Festival, this event meets art lovers across Istanbul for the sixth time this year.
Music Program and Concerts
The grand opening of the festival will be marked by a concert given by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at the AKM Türk Telekom Opera Hall.
The music program features prominent names and ensembles such as the National Arab Orchestra, Carmina Burana, Istanbul State Symphony Orchestra, Büşra Kayıkçı, and İncesaz.
Galataport Stage Events
The Galataport Clock Tower Square will host concerts by various famous names throughout the festival.
In this square, Özcan Deniz, Oğuzhan Koç, Murat Boz, Kıraç, Simge, Poizi, Bengü, Ceza, and Bayhan will take the stage to meet music enthusiasts.
Performing Arts and Ballet Shows
Not limited to concerts alone, the festival offers a rich performing arts program for the audience's appreciation.
Productions such as the Stanislavsky Ballet Gala, Swans, Carmen, Delirium, The Abduction from the Seraglio, Cinderella, and Actually There Is No Spoon will be staged at AKM.
Exhibition and Culture Centers
The Three Painters exhibition, featuring works from the Taviloğlu Collection, will be open to art lovers at the AKM Gallery.
Tophane-i Amire, Rami Library, Grand Çamlıca Mosque, Tarık Zafer Tunaya, and Taksim Mosque culture centers are among the venues of the festival.
Gastronomy and City-Wide Events
The gastronomy program extends to many neighborhoods such as Beyoğlu, Galata, Karaköy, the Historical Peninsula, Beşiktaş, and Kadıköy Moda.
Within the scope of the events, Istanbul's long-established restaurants and unique street flavors will be introduced and highlighted to a wide audience.
