İzmir's September Culture and Arts Event Program Announced
Master artists and works will meet with art lovers as part of the programs to be held at various venues in İzmir, notably the Kültürpark Open-Air Theater, Historical Coal Gas Factory, and Ahmed Adnan Saygun Art Center.
With the arrival of autumn in İzmir, the September culture and arts program consisting of concert, theater, and exhibition events to be held in the city's iconic venues has been announced.
Events in the First Half of September
In the early days of September, the "Rüya Benine Uyanış" exhibition at the Konak Metro Art Gallery and Yunus Yılmaz's "Olay Yeri İnceleme Stand Up" show at the Bostanlı Suat Taşer Theater will meet with audiences. Additionally, the "Zeytin Altında The Somogyi Quartet" open-air event will be held on September 5.
The "Candles and Echoes" exhibition at the Ahmed Adnan Saygun Art Center can be visited until September 6, and the "Tonal Sound of Music Photography Exhibition" will open on September 10. The concert marathon will continue with Yeni Türkü at Urladam on September 11, Dedublüman at the Historical Coal Gas Factory on September 12, and IAMX at the Soldout Performance Hall.
On September 13, Mabel Matiz will perform at the Historical Coal Gas Factory, An Epic Symphony and Yeni Türkü at the Fair Open-Air Theater, and Evrencan Gündüz at the Soldout Performance Hall, while a kermes event will take place at the Historical Bıçakçı Han.
Concerts and Exhibitions in the Second Half of the Month
The music calendar will continue on September 18 with concerts by Yaşar at the Historical Coal Gas Factory, Murat Karahan at the Ayfer Feray Open-Air Theater, and the Fazıl Say Jazz Quintet at the Kültürpark Open-Air Theater. On September 19, Nova Norda, Bayhan, Murat Dalkılıç, and Leyla The Band will take the stage.
Hayko Cepkin at the Alsancak Historical Coal Gas Factory, Ziynet Sali at the Suat Taşer Open-Air Theater, KARM6 at the İzmir Arena, and Zülfü Livaneli with Maria Farantouri at the Fair Open-Air Theater will perform. Meanwhile, the Mehmet Tüzüm Kızılcan Art Gallery will host the Hüseyin Terzioğlu Art Stops Collection Group Exhibition on September 22.
In the final period of the month, Berkay will meet audiences at the Kültürpark Open-Air Theater on September 25, and the "7 Kocalı Hürmüz" Musical will be at the Bornova Aşık Veysel Open-Air Theater. On September 30, events featuring CRUSH, Ceren Sagu, and Candles and Echoes Golden Swan at the Elhamra Stage will take place. Additionally, İlker Ayrık's show "Gerçekler Acıdır" and the "Between Two Currents" exhibition at the Karşıyaka Pier Gallery are also on the calendar.
