Kayseri Culture Road Festival Meets Visitors for the Second Time
The Turkey Culture Road Festival is taking place in Kayseri with a comprehensive program between September 5 and 13.
Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy announced that the Turkey Culture Road Festival will be held in Kayseri for the second time this year with a much more comprehensive program. The events, to be held between September 5 and 13, will bring the city's rich history and culture together with art lovers.
Comprehensive Festival Program
Stating that the festival will be held for the second time in Kayseri, Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy expressed that the city's historical sites and squares are once again being brought to the center of life. The nine-day events aim to promote the city's cultural values nationally and internationally.
Rich Gastronomy Route
The deep-rooted flavors of Kayseri cuisine are being presented to visitors at 34 Taste Points designated in the Melikgazi, Kocasinan, Talas, İncesu, Develi, Bünyan, and Hacılar districts. Geographically indicated delicacies such as manti, yağlama, pastırma, and nevzine will meet large audiences throughout the festival.
Concerts and Performing Arts
Festival evenings will be colored by concerts from beloved artists such as Mert Demir, Ceza, Buray, Özcan Deniz, Oğuzhan Koç, Kıraç, Murat Boz, Sefo, and Ahmet Şafak. In addition, marching band performances, traditional dances, and Neşet Ertaş folk song concerts will be organized.
Historical and Artistic Exhibitions
The Sacred Relics of the Ottoman Empire, Living Heritage, and Household exhibitions will take place at the Kayseri Inner Castle Archaeology Museum, while selected works from the Raşit Efendi Manuscript Library will meet visitors at the War of Independence Museum.
Children and Traditional Workshops
The Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Nation's Garden Children's Village will offer entertaining and educational activities for young visitors, while marbling, wood block printing, and carpet weaving works will be carried out under the guidance of masters in traditional craft workshops.
