Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, visiting Kutahya as part of the Turkey's Century Meetings, inaugurated the Kutahya Archaeology and Mining Museum, where tens of thousands of artifacts are exhibited.

Five Different Themes in the Museum

Minister Ersoy announced that there are a total of five different themes within the museum: archaeology, city and ethnography, tile, mining, and children.

Thousands of Artifacts Meet Visitors

While the collection includes thousands of archaeological artifacts, ethnographic pieces, and coins, approximately 3,300 of these are currently on display in the exhibition.

Historical Hajj Certificates on Display

Among the striking pieces of the museum are the 1816-1817 Hajj Certificates, which were found in the Parmakoren Village Mosque in 2022 and restored.
