Living Heritage Festival in Kütahya Begins with the Participation of 150 Artisans
Bringing together cultural heritage bearers from across Turkey, the festival opened its doors with a cortege march and the participation of protocol members.
Realized in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Kütahya Governorate, and the Biz Ebru Association, the Kütahya Living Heritage Festival has begun with a ceremony featuring over 150 artisans from various provinces of the country.
Started with a Cortege March
The official opening of the events took place with a colorful cortege march held from in front of Laleli Mosque toward Zafer Square.
A large number of protocol members and citizens participated in the march, showing great interest in the cultural heritage gathering.

Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Dr. Coşkun Yılmaz and Kütahya Governor Musa Işın attended the event.
Additionally, AK Party Kütahya Deputy Adil Biçer, Mayor Eyüp Kahveci, and General Manager Selim Terzi were present at the opening.
Emphasis on Kütahya's Civilization Value
In his speech, Deputy Minister Coşkun Yılmaz particularly emphasized that Kütahya is a deeply rooted and ancient center of civilization.
Governor Musa Işın stated that there are 1,451 registered works in the city, expressing that Kütahya carries the character of a hidden treasure.
Events Will Last for Three Days
Intangible cultural heritage bearers and artisans coming from different cities are exhibiting their works in this organization.
The Kütahya Living Heritage Festival will continue with various cultural events and programs lasting for three days.
