Interinstitutional Cooperation

Ayhatun Ateşin, Founding President of the Alashia Terracotta Art Community and curator of the exhibition, announced that the exhibition was realized through the cooperation of the museum and the community. The project is organized with the valuable contributions of the relevant ministries.

In her written statement, Curator Ayhatun Ateşin emphasized that the Archaic Intuition exhibition emerged not to reproduce the past, but to deeply reflect on the aesthetic intuition reaching from the past to the present.

Figures Returning to Living Images

Ateşin stated that the figures, symbols, and rituals in Mine Okur’s works do not remain merely as historical references, but transform into living images that re-establish a connection with today's viewer.
