Minister Ersoy Announced Turkey's New Cultural Vision and Festival Plan

Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy announced that the Turkey Culture Route Festival will reach 32 cities in 2027 and that archaeological excavation works under the Heritage for the Future Project have expanded to 261 sites across 67 provinces.

The Scope of the Culture Route Festival is Expanding

The Turkey Culture Route Festival, which started in Istanbul in 2021, continues to grow with the participation of new provinces.

The festival is planned to reach a total of 32 cities in 2027 with the addition of Balıkesir, Denizli, Hatay, Kocaeli, Muğla, and Tekirdağ.

Archaeological Studies and the Heritage for the Future Project

Archaeological studies carried out within the scope of the Heritage for the Future Project have reached 261 excavation sites across 67 provinces throughout Turkey.

Over the past three years, more than 2 billion 650 million liras in financial resources have been transferred to archaeological sites.
