Nâzım Hikmet Exhibition Meets Visitors at the Izmir International Fair
ROMANTİKA / Voyage of a Lifetime, one of Turkey's most comprehensive Nâzım Hikmet exhibitions, is opening at the Atlas Pavilion as part of the 95th Izmir International Fair.
Within the framework of the 95th Izmir International Fair cultural and artistic events, the most comprehensive exhibition focusing on the life of Nâzım Hikmet, ROMANTİKA / Voyage of a Lifetime, is preparing to meet art lovers at the Atlas Pavilion.
Comprehensive Exhibition Within the Scope of the Fair
As part of the events of the 95th Izmir International Fair, a comprehensive exhibition on the life of Nâzım Hikmet is being presented to art enthusiasts. Hosted by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality and produced by Folkart, the exhibition can be visited at the Atlas Pavilion between September 5, 2026, and January 15, 2027.
Halls Established in a Vast Area
Organized by İZFAŞ, the 95th Izmir International Fair will take place at Kültürpark between September 5 and 13, 2026. Curated by M. Melih Güneş, the exhibition will welcome visitors in an area of approximately 2,125 square meters across 15 halls, including the foyer.
Artifacts from International Archives
Hundreds of documents, manuscripts, personal belongings, and audiovisual records from numerous institutions, archives, and collections in Turkey and abroad have been brought together for the exhibition. The Russian State Archive of Literature and Art, along with the archives of various foundations, were opened for this work.
Selections from Important Names
In addition to the archive of Vera Tulyakova Hikmet and the works of collector Gürkan Us, selections from the works of esteemed names such as Abidin Dino, Avni Arbaş, Doris Kahane, Natalya Goncharova, and Jak İhmalyan are also featured in the exhibition.
Replica of the Study Room
While witnessing the life and art of Nâzım Hikmet, visitors will have the opportunity to closely examine a special replica of the poet's study room, which also contains his personal belongings.
