Nearly 60,000 young people took their place at events through the Koltuk Senin project

The Koltuk Senin initiative by İBB Kültür AŞ, which enables young people aged 24 and under to attend culture and arts events free of charge, has brought together nearly 60,000 young people across 1,120 events at a total of 20 venues.

Scope of the Application and Overall Success

Carried out by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Kültür AŞ since 2021, the application supports young people in establishing a connection with culture and arts. Through the project, which utilizes vacant seats, a total of 58,751 young people have participated in events free of charge to date. Throughout the season, 8,009 young people benefited from this opportunity.

Youth Gatherings at Harbiye Open-Air Theater

Harbiye Cemil Topuzlu Open-Air Theater, one of Istanbul's iconic venues, stood out as an important address hosting the project in the 2026 season. Concerts and events held on stage became a free meeting point for young people.

Free Participation via Digital Queue System

Istanbul residents aged 24 and under can take part in the process by creating a digital queue through the Radar Türkiye application. Seats that remain vacant on the day of the event are identified through the system and made available to young people based on their queue numbers.

Events Held at Various Stages

The project was not limited to Harbiye alone and welcomed young people at many different stages across Istanbul. These included the Teoman concert at Beşiktaş Tüpraş Stadium, the PANTERA concert at Ataköy Marina Arena, and events at the Istanbul Festival in Yenikapı.
