Palestinian Art Days and Suleiman Mansour Exhibition Begin in Fatih
The Art of Occupation and Resistance exhibition, opened at Medrese Davutpaşa, brought the traces of contemporary Palestinian art to Istanbul.
Realized by the Fatih Municipality, Palestinian Art Days met with visitors at Medrese Davutpaşa with the opening of the Art of Occupation and Resistance exhibition by Suleiman Mansour, one of the prominent names in contemporary Palestinian art.

The opening of the events organized by the Fatih Municipality took place at Medrese Davutpaşa.
Fatih Mayor M. Ergün Turan, artists Cemal Toy and İlhami Atalay, and numerous art lovers attended the program.

Artist Cemal Toy stated that elements of land and belonging, such as olive trees and female figures, stand out in Mansour's works.
İlhami Atalay expressed that recording elements such as war and pain through art is critical for social memory.
The Man Carrying Jerusalem and Palestinian Identity
Amir Lafi, President of the Association of Palestinian Media Members in Turkey, touched upon the symbolic value of the works in the exhibition in preserving the Palestinian identity.
