All events, to be held at the Pera Museum Auditorium on October 6 and 8, are offered to art enthusiasts free of charge.
Uludağ: A Family Archive Talk
Addressing the place of photography in family memory, the Uludağ: A Family Archive talk will take place on October 6 at 18:00.
Based on the Uludağ family's photographic archive spanning 96 years, different perspectives directed at the world by three generations will be evaluated in this event.
Who Are the Guests of the Talk
Mehmet H. Erbak, Honorary Chairman of Uludağ İçecek, and Ceylin Erbak Aytekin, Vice Chairperson of the Board of Uludağ İçecek, will attend the gathering on October 6.
Additionally, Haldun Dostoğlu, one of the founders of Galeri Nev, and architect Nevzat Sayın will take part as speakers in this session.
The History of Camera-Free Photography Discussed
On October 8 at 18:30, a talk discussing the history of camera-free photography and its place in contemporary art will be held.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Burcu Böcekler, a faculty member at Yıldız Technical University, will attend the talk titled From Photogram to the Age of Artificial Intelligence: Camera-Free Photography.
Dance Experiment Documentary Screening
On the same day at 19:45, the screening of the documentary Between Chaos and Order: A Dance Experiment will meet the audience.
The documentary focuses on the creation process of the work by choreographer and educator Rebecca Lazier.
English Talk After the Documentary
Following the screening, an English talk will be held with the participation of documentary filmmaker Metin Çavuş and choreographer Tan Temel.
