Projects to be supported in the first term of the Joint Program announced
The first four projects entitled to receive grants within the scope of the EU-supported Ortaklaşa: Culture, Dialogue and Support Program have been determined.
The results of the first call for proposals for the 2026-2029 period of the Ortaklaşa: Culture, Dialogue and Support Program, carried out under the leadership of the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts, have been announced, and it was announced that grant support will be provided to four projects selected from among 147 applications made across Turkey.
Scope of the Program and Application Process
The first project proposal call for the 2026-2029 period of the Ortaklaşa: Culture, Dialogue and Support Program, carried out by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts with the support of the European Union, in partnership with Culture Action Europe and with the affiliation of the Marmara Municipalities Union, has been completed. Within this scope, a total of 147 applications were received from 43 cities of Turkey.
Projects Entitled to Receive Support
The projects selected are 'Cinema in Ayvalık', to be carried out by the Seyir Culture and Art Association in partnership with the Ayvalık Municipality, and 'An Interlingual Courtyard: Mazxana', by the Diyarbakır Literature Culture Art Education and Research Association in partnership with the Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality.
Additionally, the 'Gürpınar Cultural Participation Network', prepared by the Ninova Education Culture Art and Tourism Association in partnership with the Van Gürpınar Municipality, and the 'Romangal Participatory Governance Project', by the Ankara Aks Association in partnership with the Bursa Osmangazi Municipality, will be supported.
Grant and Evaluation Details
A total grant support of up to 500 thousand euros will be provided to the four designated projects. Asena Günal, M. Cemil Arslan, Prof. Dr. Nezih Orhon, Seçil Kınay Yılmaz, and Görgün Taner served on the Evaluation Committee.
