Festival Evaluations Completed
Evaluations for the poetry, painting, caricature, photography, and design competitions held within the scope of the Checkmate Chess Festival, as well as the robotics coding and technology categories, have concluded.
Fikri Özer's Success
Fikri Özer won first place in the adults' caricature category, as well as in the chess set and chess costume design branches, in the competitions held within the festival.
Reviews by Jury Members
Competition applications were meticulously evaluated by jury members Meryem İtimat, Şirin Zaferyıldızı, Arif Albayrak, Cemal Tunceri, Dolgun Dalgıçoğlu, Serah Menteşe, and Damla Boşnak.
Painting and Caricature Rankings
In the chess-themed painting competition, Larin Kanizi and Yamaç Altunel ranked in the juniors category, while Elvin Yılmaz and Alper Alasya ranked in the adults category. Ateş Emiroğlu received an award in the juniors caricature category.
Design and Photography Categories
Tan Taneri won first place in the chess photography branch, brothers Yamaç and Sarp Altunel in LEGO design, Tecel Kadıoğlu in circuit design, and Ateş Emiroğlu in t-shirt design.
Technology and Poetry Awards
While Aras Boşnak took first place in the poetry category, Ecrin Ünüvardır in the robot design branch and Taner Zeden in the best Scratch project category were among the names deemed worthy of awards.
