Opened by the municipality in the Melikgazi district of Kayseri, the facility enables district residents to participate in social and cultural events. Located in Hunat Neighborhood, the center has quickly become one of the region's important meeting points.

According to statements by Mayor Mustafa Palancıoğlu, various workshop activities are carried out at the facility in the fields of tile art, clothing and fashion, charcoal drawing, calligraphy, fretwork (naht), ceramics, cold ceramics, oil painting, rosary making, miniature, and leather crafting.
Course Opportunities for Working Individuals
Offering visitors areas such as exhibition halls, various workshops, and a cafeteria all together, the facility organizes special courses in the evenings and on weekends, especially for citizens who work during the day.
Home Economy Contribution Project
Officials announced that the Atölye Melikgazi project, which aims to enable women to produce hand-crafted products and contribute to their family budgets, will soon be implemented at the facility.
