The 4th Sanat Dünyamız Days Begin with the Theme of Cracked Cocoon

Sanat Dünyamız Days is offering a public program consisting of exhibitions, performances, workshops, and talks under the theme "Cracked Cocoon" between October 8-11, 2026, at Yapı Kredi Culture Arts.
Cracked Cocoon Theme and the Purpose of the Program
Prepared by Sanat Dünyamız magazine editor Fisun Yalçınkaya and Yapı Kredi Culture Arts Publishing Events Manager Ahsen Erdoğan, the 4th Sanat Dünyamız Days brings together exhibitions, performances, workshops, and talks this year under the title "Cracked Cocoon." The program questions how routines, repetitions, and habits create a sphere of movement within daily life and what kind of order this sphere leads modern humanity into.
Opening Exhibition and First Day Events
The 4th Sanat Dünyamız Days will kick off with Burak Ata's solo exhibition titled "When I Objectify My Most Ordinary Feelings, What Happens." The opening of the exhibition and the artist talk will take place on the evening of Thursday, October 8.
Friday Fanzine Workshop and Talks
Within the scope of the program focusing on art education on Friday, October 9, the "Fanzine: This Is Not a Sanat Dünyamız" workshop will be held with Vardal Caniş. Participants will be introduced to fanzine production through a practice based on preparing their own magazines. On the same day, Burak Delier and Şive Neşe Baydar will come together for a talk titled "Jumping Up and Down: Art and Repetition."
Saturday Workshops and Gatherings
The program for Saturday, October 10, will feature workshops and practices of coming together. Alongside Şafak Şule Kemancı's "My Own Cocoon" workshop, İris Ergül's workshop titled "Round and Round," progressing through paper foldings, will take place. Yağmur Yıldırım will deliver a talk on practices of coming together in urban spaces.
Sunday Performances and Closing
Sunday, October 11, is dedicated to performances and artist talks. İris Ergül's premiere performance "Lifeblood" and Merve Morkoç's "?? Measurable Humiliation ??" will meet audiences. The final day of the program will conclude with Mine Söyler's talk on performance and repetitions.
