Restoration Work Completed

Comprehensive restoration work initiated in January 2023 at the Tlos Ancient City Theater located in Muğla's Seydikemer district has been successfully concluded.

In the project carried out with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Muğla Governorship, and Akdeniz University, the architectural integrity of the structure was meticulously preserved.

Lighting with Solar Energy

A Solar Power Plant project, a first for the Ancient City of Tlos, was implemented and an eco-friendly system was established.

The nighttime illumination needs of the ancient theater are met entirely by solar energy, setting an example for sustainable energy use.

Night Museology Begins

Thanks to the newly implemented lighting system, local and foreign visitors will be able to experience the unique atmosphere of the ancient city during the evening hours.

Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy emphasized in a social media statement that the different historical phases of the structure have been preserved.
