Turkey Cinema Festival Returns for Its Second Edition with Tickets Priced at 90 Liras

Realized with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and organized by SİSAY, the Turkey Cinema Festival is preparing to meet cinema enthusiasts for the second time on September 26-27. Throughout the event, all movie tickets have been put on sale for 90 liras.

Purpose and Scope of the Festival

Organized with the support of the General Directorate of Cinema under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Turkey Cinema Festival aims to strengthen cinema culture and support theaters.

Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy announced that in its second year, the organization will meet cinema lovers with an even broader scope.

Dates, Location, and Ticket Details

Carried out by the Cinema Theater Investors Association with GNÇ as the main sponsor, the festival will be held on September 26-27 in 75 provinces and approximately 1,500 theaters.

During the two-day event, the ticket price for all films has been set at a fixed rate of 90 liras, and tickets are now on sale for audiences.

Previous Year's Data and Goals

Held for the first time last year on September 27-28, 2025, the festival successfully hosted more than 780,000 spectators.

This year, the goals are to contribute to the sustainability of movie theaters and facilitate access to cinema for broad audiences.

Productions to Meet the Audience

The festival program features a total of 17 domestic and foreign films that can attract the interest of cinema lovers of all ages.

The selection includes notable productions such as Avengers: Endgame, Spider-Man: A Brand New Day, Odyssey, and Toy Story 5.
