Turkey Culture Road Festival Begins at Kahramanmaraş Castle
The organization, which opened its doors with a ceremony held at the historical castle, hosts numerous artistic and cultural gatherings in various areas throughout the city.
The nine-day event marathon officially began in Kahramanmaraş, the 18th stop of the Turkey Culture Road Festival organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
Opening Venue of the Festival
The Turkey Culture Road Festival, implemented by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, has started welcoming visitors in Kahramanmaraş, which is hosting the event for the first time.
Ceremony at the Historical Venue
The official opening program was held at the historical Kahramanmaraş Castle, which was damaged in the February 6, 2023 earthquakes and whose restoration works have been completed.
Participation of the Protocol
Kahramanmaraş Governor Mükerrem Ünlüer, Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Gökhan Yazgı, and Metropolitan Mayor Fırat Görgel attended the opening ceremony.
Event Program and Duration
Throughout the festival, which will run from September 12 to 20, 2026, the city's historical and cultural values are presented to visitors at 14 different points.
Culture and Gastronomy Gatherings
Within the scope of the nine-day events, various exhibitions, workshops, talks, and special gastronomy events at 52 taste points are taking place.
Concerts and Artists
As part of the celebrations, famous names such as Murat Boz, Sefo, and Derya Uluğ will give free public concerts.
