Turkey Culture Route Festival meets art lovers in Istanbul
Organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the festival continues at many points of the city, especially the Atatürk Cultural Center and Rami Library.
The Istanbul leg of the Turkey Culture Route Festival, implemented by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, will continue until October 4 with concerts, exhibitions, talks, and workshops.
Wind of Music at the Atatürk Cultural Center
Performing at the Atatürk Cultural Center (AKM) Türk Telekom Opera Hall, the National Arab Orchestra conveyed the deeply rooted musical heritage of the Arab world to the audience with contemporary orchestration.
In the AKM Theater Hall, the İncesaz group performed selections from their 30-year repertoire, interpreting beloved TV series soundtracks and songs.
Literature Talks and Poetry Gatherings
Within the scope of the 17th International Istanbul Poetry and Literature Festival, panels addressing the relationship between the city and poetry were held at the AKM Library.
At the events, poets and writers from different countries shared their literary heritage and the transformative power of poetry with the participants.
Art and Workshops for Children
The Cinderella production, staged by the Istanbul State Opera and Ballet at the Kadıköy Municipality Süreyya Opera House, was presented to children.
Traditional handicrafts and fairy tale events were held at various workshops organized at the Büyük Çamlıca Mosque and Rami Library.
Exhibitions Open to Visitors at Different Locations
Throughout the festival, works produced from electronic waste and portrait exhibitions are hosted in many venues, primarily AKM and Rami Library.
Additionally, works by prominent painters from the Taviloğlu Collection are presented to art lovers at the AKM Gallery.
