Minister Ersoy's Speech
Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy stated in his speech at the ceremony that Turkish is not merely a tool for communication, but a fundamental element carrying the history and civilization of a nation.
Recalling the words of Ghazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, Ersoy expressed that protecting the Turkish language is a national responsibility.

Issuing warnings regarding the use of Turkish in the digital world, Minister Ersoy drew attention to social media language and the uncontrolled influx of foreign concepts.
Stating that societies unable to produce their own concepts will be forced to think with the concepts of others, Ersoy called for the meticulous use of Turkish.
