Türkiye Culture Route Festival Started in Kahramanmaraş
The festival, implemented for the first time in Kahramanmaraş with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, opened its doors with a ceremony at the Historical Castle.
Organized for the first time in Kahramanmaraş by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Türkiye Culture Route Festival officially began with an opening program held at the Historical Kahramanmaraş Castle.
Start of the Festival and Details
Festival enthusiasm has begun in Kahramanmaraş, which was included in the Türkiye Culture Route Festival route for the first time this year by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Within the scope of the mega organization, which will take place between September 12 and 20, two hundred and eight events will be held at fourteen different locations over nine days.
High Participation in the Opening Program
The opening program of the events was held at the Historical Kahramanmaraş Castle, which was damaged in the February 6 earthquakes and reopened its visitors after a comprehensive restoration process. Protocol members, ministry officials, and numerous citizens participated in the program.
Protocol Speeches and Exhibitions
Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fırat Görgel stated that the festival being held in the city for the first time carries great significance, while Deputy Minister Gökhan Yazgı emphasized the ancient history of the city. Following the protocol speeches, the invitees visited the exhibition at the castle.
