Visiting Hours for Museums and Social Areas in Talas Reorganized

Talas Municipality has made a new arrangement regarding the visiting hours of museums, social facilities, and recreational areas across the district, in alignment with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism's Night Museology practice.

New Arrangements Made in Visiting Hours

Talas Municipality reorganized the visiting hours of important cultural, social, and natural areas in the district in parallel with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism's Night Museology practice, a move that received great appreciation.

Thanks to this practice, a noticeable increase in the number of visitors has been experienced, and many points from museums to recreational areas have been made available to citizens for longer periods.

New Opening Hours of Museums

The 100th Anniversary Museum from Çanakkale to the Republic, which breaks visitor records, and the Water Civilizations Gallery have started to be kept open until 19.00 six days a week.

The Facsimile Mushafs Quran Exhibition, located in Yaman Dede Mansion, continues to welcome visitors between 10.00 and 18.00.

Recreational Areas and Working Days

Zincidere 100. Year Recreational Area and Ali Mountain Recreational Area, which are the breathing spaces of the city, are offered to nature lovers between 07.00 in the morning and 23.00 in the evening.

All these social venues and museums are kept closed only on Mondays in order to carry out general maintenance, repair, and cleaning works.

Evaluations by the Mayor

Talas Mayor Mustafa Yalçın stated in his statement that they continue to offer livable areas in all four seasons to their fellow citizens by protecting their history, culture, and nature.

Mayor Yalçın expressed that thanks to these venues appealing to citizens of all age groups, they continue to add color to summer evenings.
