Work Continues on Kocaeli Social Life Center Construction
Interior manufacturing, exterior cladding, and infrastructure activities are progressing rapidly at the 17,000-square-meter new social life campus rising in Kocaeli.
Interior manufacturing, exterior facade, and infrastructure works are continuing uninterrupted at the 17,000-square-meter Social Life Center consisting of 7 blocks, implemented by the Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality on the İzmit Old Interteks Fairground site.
General Characteristics of the Project
Brought to the city by the Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, the Social Life Center has a construction area of approximately 17,000 square meters and consists of a total of 7 blocks.
When completed, the center will bring together many different fields on the same campus, ranging from education to art, culture to gastronomy, and entrepreneurship to social activities.
Units to Be Located in the Center
The new living center will house a conservatory, a language academy, a library, and gastronomy workshops.
Additionally, the project will feature an entrepreneurship center, a natural life museum, digital broadcasting studios, and civil society centers.
Interior Manufacturing in the Blocks
Within the scope of the works carried out in different blocks of the project, gypsum plaster manufacturing is ongoing in the conservatory building.
While the plasterboard suspended ceiling manufacturing has been completed in the entrepreneurship building, significant progress has also been made in the mechanical installation area.
Gastronomy and Language Academy
While mechanical installation works continue in the gastronomy building, suspended ceiling works have begun and glass assembly is underway.
In the language academy building, alongside mechanical installation works, it was reported that the transition to suspended ceiling manufacturing has been made.
Exterior Facade and Phase Works
Exterior facade cladding activities continue uninterrupted in various phases of the center.
In Phase-3, exterior facade manufacturing along with compact panel, standing seam fascia cladding, aluminum joinery, and glass assembly are being carried out.
In Phase-4, in addition to exterior facade manufacturing, ventilation and fire installation works are ongoing.
Guardhouse and Landscaping
Within the framework of the works carried out in the guardhouse building, wall tile paving operations are being performed.
Furthermore, within the scope of landscaping, curb manufacturing and electrical infrastructure works are also continuing rapidly.
