Works of Abkhazian artist Batal Capua to be exhibited in Ankara
Works by Abkhazian People's Artist Batal Capua will be exhibited in the capital through the organization of KAFFED and the Ankara Circassian Association.
A special painting exhibition consisting of reproduction works by renowned Abkhazian artist Batal Capua will be presented to art lovers in Ankara between September 7 and 13, 2026.
Purpose and Scope of the Exhibition
Reflecting Abkhazia's cultural memory, its people, nature, and philosophy of life through a unique artistic language, the exhibition aims to strengthen the ties between the Homeland and the diaspora.
Event Schedule and Program
Prepared through the joint efforts of the KAFFED Abkhazia Working Group and the Culture and Art Working Group, the program will feature an interview, an exhibition opening, and a master class.
Interview and Opening Details
Artist Batal Capua will participate in an interview at the Ankara Circassian Association on Sunday, September 6 at 20:00, and the exhibition will open on Monday, September 7 at 17:30 at the Zafer Fine Arts Gallery.
Master Class and Visiting Duration
Within the framework of the program, a Master Class will be held on Tuesday, September 8 between 13:00 and 15:00, and the exhibition can be visited throughout September 7–13, 2026.
