Within the framework of Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis's visit to Turkey on February 11, the 6th Turkey-Greece High-Level Cooperation Council convened.

This important meeting constituted a critical step in terms of maintaining diplomatic contacts between the two countries at an institutional level.

Signed Agreements and Joint Declaration

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis signed a Joint Declaration between the governments of the two countries.

During the visit, various agreements were concluded in the fields of investment, maritime trade, economic cooperation, earthquakes, culture, science, and technology.

Course of Relations and Evaluations

Marmara University Department of Political Science and International Relations Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Zuhal Mert Uzuner authored an article on the process and the reflections of the visit.

The analyses handled in detail the historical course of Turkish-Greek relations, consultative talks, the positive agenda strategy, and regional developments.
