Turkey's construction material exports over the last 12 months increased by 10.5 percent in value between August 2025 and July 2026, reaching 33.38 billion dollars.

July Data

The results of the July foreign trade index, prepared in cooperation with the Turkish Construction Material Industrialists Association and KPMG, were shared with the public.

Exports, which stood at 3.17 billion dollars in June, increased by 1 percent in July to rise to 3.20 billion dollars.

Quantity and Unit Price

The export quantity decreased by 4.8 percent in July from 5.19 million tons in June, dropping to 4.94 million tons.

In July, the average export unit price of the construction material industry was recorded at 0.65 dollars per kilogram.

Seven-Month Foreign Trade

In the January-July period, the total exports of the construction material industry amounted to 19.51 billion dollars, while total imports stood at 8.84 billion dollars.

During this period, the export volume was 30.13 million tons, while the import volume was recorded at 2.48 million tons.

Foreign Trade Surplus

The sector succeeded in generating a foreign trade surplus of approximately 10.67 billion dollars in the first seven months of the year.

Annual Developments

In the annual period between August 2025 and July 2026, the sector's total exports reached 33.38 billion dollars and 51.65 million tons.

Annual export figures showed an increase of 10.5 percent in value and 2 percent in volume compared to the same period of the previous year.
