A 3-month temporary concordat decision was issued by the judicial authorities regarding MHK Meyve ve Sebze Gıda Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., operating in Izmir's Buca district, and company owner Mehmet Hayri Kaymaz.
Court Decision and Temporary Grace Period
As a result of the request evaluated by the Izmir 3rd Commercial Court of First Instance, it was ruled to apply a 3-month temporary concordat grace period regarding MHK Meyve ve Sebze Gıda Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., which has been operating in Buca since 2023, and company owner Mehmet Hayri Kaymaz. Along with the decision, precautionary measures regarding the company and its owner were also put into effect.
Commissioner Committee Appointed
Within the scope of the decision made by the court, a three-person temporary concordat commissioner committee was appointed to supervise and execute the process. Ülkü Yıldız, Sevgi Kanyılmaz, and Emre Kıdoğlu were assigned as commissioners and began studies to examine the financial situation of the company.
7-Day Period for Creditors
The court decision also included warnings addressed to parties having receivables from the company. It was reported that creditors can apply to the court with a petition within a strict 7-day period, asserting with evidence in their hands that there is no situation requiring the granting of a concordat grace period, and request the rejection of the request.
Financial Data and Tax Accrual
The financial data of the company for the year 2025 were also among the striking details. Accordingly, it was determined that the company declared a tax base of 6 million 915 thousand 499 liras last year, and a tax accrual of 1 million 728 thousand 874 liras was realized over this amount.
