After eliminating French representative O. Lyon in the UEFA Champions League play-off round, Fenerbahçe has qualified for the league phase of the tournament for the first time in 18 years and earned the right to participate in the draw from Pot 3.

Fenerbahçe secured their place in the league phase by defeating French side O. Lyon 2-1 in the second leg, following a 1-1 draw in the first leg of the Champions League play-off round.
With this result, the yellow-navy team has earned the right to compete in the Champions League again after an 18-year hiatus.

Fenerbahçe had made a successful start by eliminating Gornik Zabrze in the UEFA Champions League second qualifying round.
Subsequently, our representative successfully advanced to the play-off round by eliminating Sturm Graz in the third qualifying round.
