Within the scope of the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, a total of 9 people, including Tera Portföy Chairman of the Board Erdin Özel and CEO Emir Münir Sarpyener, were arrested and sent to prison.

Scope and Developments of the Investigation

The fund investigation conducted by the Terrorism Financing and Laundering Investigation Bureau of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office for the crime of opposition to the Capital Markets Law is deepening.

Referral to Courthouse and Arrest Decisions

Among the suspects referred to the courthouse after their interrogations at the police station, Erdin Özel, Emir Münir Sarpyener, Bolkan Bekçi, Hasan Dörtkardeş, and İbrahim Halil Rat were arrested.

Judicial Control and New Arrests

While Farmagül Lafçı was released under judicial control conditions, Ali Çil, İskender Balcı, İsmet Öğüt, and Adem Karatepe were also arrested in ongoing operations.

With these latest arrest decisions, the total number of detainees in the investigation file rose to 65 people.

Examinations and Asset Measures

Within the framework of the investigation, fund outflows made in the name of İsmet Öğüt and economic benefit relations continue to be investigated in detail.

Asset measures concerning various portfolio managers whose liquidation was decided by the Capital Markets Board are also continuing.
