Minister of Trade Prof. Dr. Ömer Bolat, Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Hacı Ali Özel, and Istanbul Deputy Governor Erhan Günay took part in the gala night.

Alongside TABA-AmCham President Süleyman Ecevit Sanlı, leading figures of the business world and seventy AmCham leaders from thirty different countries were present at this important summit in Istanbul.

Customs Union and Visa Emphasis

TABA-AMCHAM President Sanlı stated that the customs union model between Turkey and the European Union needs to be modernized, demanding the removal of transit quotas and visa barriers.

Trade Targets with the USA

Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat emphasized that they remain committed to the one hundred billion dollar target in trade volume with the United States and that they will reach this figure by 2028 at the latest.

Manufacturing Industry and Investment Invitation

Industry and Technology Minister Mehmet Fatih Kacır stated that Turkey has doubled its share in the global manufacturing industry over the past twenty years and invited American investors to Turkey.
