Ahi Evran Week Begins in Kırşehir and Economic Data Shared

The week-long Ahi Evran Week events, centered in Kırşehir, officially started with the participation of Trade Minister Ömer Bolat. As part of the program, Minister Bolat first visited the tomb of Ahi Evran-i Veli and offered prayers.
Cortege and Ceremony at Cacabey Square
Following the tomb visit, a traditional cortege march was held, and the celebrations continued with an opening program organized at Cacabey Square. Speeches were delivered to the citizens at the square.

Kırşehir Governor Murat Sefa Demiryürek drew attention to the importance of Ahi Evran tradition in Turkish-Islamic culture. Stating that he is the child of a tradesman, Demiryürek emphasized that Ahi Evran forms the silent and strong backbone of society.
Economic Growth Figures Announced
Trade Minister Ömer Bolat, attending the ceremony as the guest of honor, evaluated the development of the Turkish economy over the last 23 years. He stated that the economic size has increased from 238 billion dollars to 1.7 trillion dollars as of June.

Minister Bolat stated that Turkey has maintained its stability despite the wars surrounding it. He evaluated the point reached in the fight against terrorism and the strong defense industry.
