Economists' Second-Quarter Expectations

According to estimates by economists participating in the Anadolu Agency Finance Growth Expectation Survey, the Turkish economy is expected to record a growth rate of 2.8 percent in the second quarter of this year.

The April-June growth expectations of the experts participating in the survey ranged between a low of 2.2 percent and a high of 3.0 percent.

Past Economic Growth Performance

The Turkish economy had previously exhibited a growth rate of 4.7 percent in the second quarter of the previous year. In the first quarter of this year, the growth rate was realized at 2.5 percent.
