Applications for SME Capacity Development Support Program Begin
The application deadline for the support program aimed at increasing the institutional capacities of small and medium-sized enterprises has been announced as September 15.
Applications for the third term of the 2026 Capacity Development Support Program, implemented to support the growth and development of small and medium-sized enterprises, have begun to be accepted.
Objective and Goals of the Program
Within the scope of the program, it is aimed to support scaling-up and digital transformation investments that will strengthen the efficiency, production capacity, and institutional structure of SMEs. Additionally, it aims to contribute to the development of SMEs taking part in the supply chains of large enterprises.
Application Requirements and Sectors
The support program is open to SMEs operating in manufacturing, telecommunications, computer programming, IT infrastructure, and scientific R&D sectors. Businesses are required to be registered in the KOSGEB database, have an up-to-date declaration, and hold a status compliant with the Turkish Commercial Code.
Expense Items to be Supported
Within the framework of the program, expenses for machinery, equipment, and molds, corporate software expenditures, and costs regarding the employment of qualified human resources are covered. Furthermore, financing is provided for various service procurement expenses such as training, consultancy, testing, analysis, and working capital.
Credit Limits and Conditions
While the upper credit limit is 20 million TL for fast-growing businesses, this limit goes up to 30 million TL for collaborations in the defense and aviation fields. The project duration has been set at 24 months, and the credit maturity at 36 months, with KGF surety facilities being offered.
Statements by Minister Kacır
Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır stated that within the scope of the program implemented in 2025, access to billions of liras in financing was provided to thousands of SMEs, and businesses will continue to be supported.
